Border Care looked after my mother for the last 12 months of her life and couldn’t have been better. The carers were all warm, cheerful and efficient, and she looked forward to their daily visits. I have no hesitation in recommending Border Care.They provided a reliable professional service. My 97 year old mother came to live with me after a fall last September. Firstly the district nurses visited to dress a leg wound and then Border Care assisted me with Mum’s personal care. We all settled into a pleasant routine, with mainly one carer and always knew in advance if any changes in the rota were required. Manager Lorna came more than once to assist, support and advise. As Mum’s condition deteriorated, Border Care continued to provide sympathetic care alongside the hospice at home team. We feel very grateful to have found them.

When my husband needed daily care on his discharge, from hospital, Border came to my rescue. He was treated with dignity, respect and kindness as well as gentle humour which he so appreciated. When they walked through the door, I knew he was in safe hands.

"I could not recommend Border Care more highly, the care for my mother was second to none. Each and every member of their team would go above and beyond the call of duty, nothing was too much trouble,even calling off duty to see if mum or myself were ok. Border Care would also liaise with outisde health care teams i.e doctors, district nurses, or who ever needed to be contacted at anytime. Mum thought very highly of Lorna and her team and would look forward to their visits every day. On behalf of my late mum and myself, I could not recommend Border Care enough, and I would especially like to thank Lorna for a great care package during a difficult time.
